After nearly 20 incredible years of helping grow ideas, campaigns, products, and businesses, I am stepping fully into the most meaningful chapter of my career. I’m thrilled to share that I am devoting 110% of my energy to growing the National Child Protection Task Force—a mission that is not just professional but profoundly personal.
Two years ago, I began volunteering with NCPTF, drawn to their bold and innovative approach to combating child exploitation. In 2024, I became the organization’s first Chief Communications Officer, and now, as Chief Strategy Officer, I have the incredible honor of helping lead a team that is rewriting what’s possible for missing children across America.
In 2024, NCPTF helped locate nearly 200 missing children across America. In 2025, we’re aiming even higher. This growth reflects not just the hard work of our team, but also the support of everyone who believes in the urgency and importance of our mission.
To those who have trusted me over the years to help bring their visions to life: thank you. Together, we’ve connected people to the things they care about in ways that truly matter. Your trust and collaboration shaped my journey, and I’ll forever be grateful for the incredible opportunities we shared.
As I step away from taking on new clients, I do so with excitement and purpose.
If you’d like to follow NCPTF’s work or support our efforts, please visit ncptf.org or connect with us on social media. Together, we can create better outcomes for America’s missing kids.
Here’s to meaningful work, bold missions, and a brighter future.
With gratitude,
Heather Dark

You won't meet a more enthusiastic or knowledgeable individual when it comes to your branding and marketing needs. Her skills and taste are a winning combination which cannot be matched.
Heather rebranded one of our businesses. She made our website, menus, and business cards whimsical, cohesive, and pretty much perfect. It was the first time we had a designer read our minds and turn what we do for a living into an aesthetic.
Last year, NCPTF hosted our first Missing Child Rescue Operation in Buffalo, NY. Over three intense days, our team collaborated with law enforcement, nonprofits, and private-sector partners to locate 47 missing children. But finding them was just the beginning.
These operations address so much more—restoring hope and rebuilding the systems that exist to protect these children. We bring together investigative expertise, child protection professionals, and cutting-edge technology to locate missing kids, address why they went missing, and help develop long-term safety and support for both them and their families.
